Small Groups are the building blocks of London Christian Fellowship. They are a safe place where people can develop friendships with others, share the joys and struggles of life and help each other to grow in their relationship with God. Our small groups vary in flavor, what they study, when they meet, etc. We invite you to find one that suits your style and schedule and experience the difference that a small group can make in your life. Listed below are some small groups for you to consider being a part of. If you have questions or would like more information about small groups, contact small group coordinator, Rob Swartz. |

Contact persons: Molly Rosati and Doris Swartz
We regularly offer Beth Moore Bible studies throughout the year. Contact Doris or Molly for more details.
Each study includes about 10 video sessions along with an in-depth study in your member workbook that has 5 homework segments for each video session. Some groups meet weekly for the video sessions and others meet bi-weekly to allow more time to get the homework completed.
Studies we have done or are currently doing include: ♦ Believing God ♦ Living Beyond Yourself (The Fruit of the Spirit) ♦ Daniel ♦ Jesus the One and Only ♦ Stepping Up (the Psalms of Ascent) ♦ Esther—It’s Tough Being a Woman
In January 2010 we will begin Beth’s newest study “Breaking Free”. |

“Strive”: A Men's Discipleship Group
Leader: Rob Swartz Several of the men at LCF have been meeting over the past year in a group called Strive. The name reflects the purpose of the group, which is to seek after God and give real effort to spiritual success. The members help each other in discipleship and grow leadership skills through study, accountability, and mutual support. The current group includes Jeff Thoman, Kevin Duncan, Tyler Knief, Andrew Sharp, and Rob Swartz. After meeting together for about a year, they want to make other men in the church aware about the group and that they are welcome to join at any time. It’s open to guys of about high-school age and above. If you want to have more passion for God and more of a connection with other men in the church, this group might be a good place to start. There is no requirement for a high level of spiritual maturity to participate. It’s for men at all different places in their journey with Christ, so they can learn and grow together. The group meets about once a month. Possible activities for the coming year include bible studies, book studies, personal sharing, sharing advice and counsel, and accountability. Talk to Rob, Kevin, Jeff, Tyler or Andrew if you want a better idea of what the group is about. |

Leaders: Keith & Shannon Scheffel
Keith and Shannon Scheffel welcome anyone interested to join their new small group. They meet every other Sunday evening (alternating on the evenings when the Jr. Youth group doesn’t meet). The main purpose of the group will be to encourage and support one another through fellowship, prayer and Bible Study. We’ll plan to begin with a study of the book of Acts. Please contact Keith or Shannon for more info or to let them know that you'd like to participate. Keith and Shannon use their gifts and abilities in various ways at LCF. They both serve on the worship team, Keith is an elder and Shannon is Sunday school coordinator. They have 3 children who attend Shekinah Christian School, where Shannon teaches kindergarten. They live in Rosedale and Keith works just down the road where he serves as chief financial officer for Rosedale Mennonite Missions. |
